And yea Arch, Blackreach a nd its related cities are all in the game, just no Aetherium keys or Forge. I would wait till u et the DLC as it's what ties it all together, and you dont get all the quest markers right away, you gotta try and figure out where to go based on the 4000yr old map.
Little something I happened upon by mistake while making glitched armor.
THe process to making gamebreaking gear is as follows:
make a set of gear with +smithing and alchemy on each piece.
put it on
make a fortify restoration potion
drink the potion
take the gear off, exit menu
put gear on, make another fortify restoration potion
repeat.
each step, your potions and gear bonuses multiply and you hit sometihng retarded like +793323%, when I finally made a fortify enchanting potion, I went from level 70 alchemy all the way to 100, in one shot.
So if you still have low alchemy, give this method a shot! Should be able to go from 1-100 in a couple synths, as long as you have the ingredients.
BTW, I only put regens on my armors. Yea, it made me invincible but I didnt give myself mega weapons or anything like that, just gonna be real easy to lvl magic schools now with infinite mana =)
If you use the above process to make fortify smithing/enchanting potions, there is a chance that the super potions might let you take smithing and enchanting from 1-100 also, but idk cuz I already 100 before I started.
