Re-rolled last night.
Just wasn't working well having an archer be the first one in. So now I made a sexy silver haired fighter, and hopefully Ill be able to get somewhere now.
My first character was consistently getting her ass handed to her. With the new re-roll, Im starting to get some more experienced pawns that are actually enlightening me to the depth of strategy required for these fights. For Example, I figured that shooting the cyclops in its eye with an arrow would put some hurt on, but it really just pissed it off. Best to latch on to its ankles, climb up to knee height and slash away till it falls down. Then, crawling up its stomach and plunging the sword into its eye made him a relatively easy encounter.
Ace, does every enemy have this type of weak spot? I also got smoked by a Giant, the fast moving ones with the almost human face. No idea how to kill that thing.

The big ones you just gotta take what they dish out. Also your probably getting raped on Archer/Strider cause you havent learn the Evasive Roll skill yet. Its cause Fighters geat shield block off the bat that makes them alot better starting choice. I also suggest levelling warrior a few vocation ranks too for its traits, it has a few Massively Reduces physical damage taken traits and also less staggering when being attacked.
YES. No dodge is what has been killing me every time. Jumping around like a 12 yr old Halo player.
